Remember That?

Perhaps one day far far far into the future there will be a day when one of us can say “Remember that one time when Bryce was riding his bike and he crashed face first into that metal sign?”

Then another of of us can say “Yeah and he completely knocked out his front tooth, scratched and loosened another tooth, dislocated his palate, got a piece of that sign stuck in his gums, bruised up his leg real bad, split his lip open and had to get three stitches in it, and had to take a bunch of medicine and antibiotics ?? Remember that?”

So I can say without cringing or experiencing vivid flash backs of the bloody catastrophe, and the bucket loads of guilt trying to nurse him back to health,
“Yes I remember”
