Raise your hand if you love road trips! Me too!

The week before Mother’s Day, James says “Wanna go on a road trip?” Umm hello! Heck yeah I do! 

Sunday morning we drove north, nowhere specific, just drove.

Now raise your hand if you like to take notes of funny or cool things, while you are on a road trip. Am I the only one who likes to do this? I sure hope not, or else I’m going to look like a weirdo right now.

Right after we left Tennessee and got into Kentucky, it was potty break time at a truck stop. Now, truck stops are both cool and really gross places, but when you gotta go, you gotta go. After having three boys who used my bladder as a bouncy house, my bladder ain’t what it used to be. I look at it like, how many people can say they have used a Kentucky truck stop bathroom?

There’s always “someone” who HAS to take their shoes and socks off while we’re on the road.

Right about here, almost in Illinois, Bryce asks “Are we in South America yet?” Huh? Did I miss something? No Bryce, not yet.

Liam wasn’t enthused much about the whole trip but he managed.

Cameron was surprisingly very well behaved, even at bed time, big thank you card to whoever gave me that gift.

With good music, homemade food, cow tails, healthy snacks, a cool hotel room and Panera Bread for Mama’s Day dinner, it made a good trip with my guys. ♥
